• Full Board: $390/month. Includes large stall and paddock, twice daily feeding, once daily stall cleaning, and feed up to 20lbs per day plus two cups grain. Beyond that feed is at the current price per pound.

Please come by and look at our facilities, and then compare our rates to other local facilities. It will quickly become obvious why we are clearly the best horse boarding value in Kitsap County! Other places with our level of service are $100 or more higher than us, and most require training in addition to the basic rate. Yes, we could raise our rates, but we would like to remain accessible to normal people who would like to be involved in the equestrian lifestyle.

  • Turnout: Pasture turnout is included for three times per week when available. We do not offer pasture board.

  • Stalls: Stalls and paddocks are cleaned and swept once daily and bedded with wood pellets. We have the cleanest facility in the entire area!

  • Feed: We purchase only the highest quality second cutting straight Timothy and straight Alfalfa from the Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington. We purchase once a year at peak season to insure the highest nutritional value and consistency. We do not feed by throwing "flakes" in the stalls. All feed is digitally weighed and adjusted to each horse's nutritional needs. Owners may also prepare supplements that we will put in the stalls at feeding time.

  • Training: Boarders are welcome to bring in trainers of your choice, as long as they carry insurance. We are the only facility in North Kitsap offering a full Olympic sized turf dressage course. We do NOT require that you purchase training from us or anyone else in order to board here. Most other local facilities require you to purchase training in addition to their high boarding fees!

  • General public lessons and trail riding: We are unable to offer rides or lessons to the general public. Our facilities are only for use by our boarders. Occasionally we allow people to trailer in for lessons with qualified, insured trainers. We do not have any schooling horses or trail horses and are unable to offer lessons or riding otherwise. We do not offer "pony" rides or birthday parties, etc. We are a horse boarding facility only. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Neither do we offer trail riding for the general public. Access to the trails from Watermark Farm is only for our boarders. Please access the trails from the general access gates if not a Watermark Farm boarder. The general public usually trailers their horses to gate G-4. See map for more information. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Please consider boarding here if you'd like quick, convenient access to the trails!

  • Trailers: Trailer parking will remain free but only when space is available.

  • Extra bedding: $60/month. NOTE : Our understanding is that you will require extra bedding only for medical reasons and only short term. Extra bedding is a huge burden on the muckers and the manure pile.

  • Stall confinement: (Locked in stall at night or in rain with lights on): $150/month plus you'd be expected to tip the muckers for the extra cleanup. NOTE : We are going to be very strict as to why and how long horses may be confined. Only those horses required to be confined for clear medical reasons will qualify. We strongly believe that prolonged confinement for purely cosmetic reasons is inhumane!

  • Assistance: Watermark assistance in absence of owner for first aid, vet, farrier, etc: $40/hour only when available and with 48 hours notice.

  • Supplements: We will as always happily feed items prepared and bagged by you free of charge. Additional feed preparation done by us (soaking hay, pellets, etc): $200/month or $7/day (short term). This will ONLY be done for equine medical emergency situations only.

  • Arena Fees: There are no fees for boarders to use the arenas. The arena fee for non-boarders brought in for lessons, etc. is $20/hour/rider. Trainers that are not affiliated with Watermark Farm may bring in lessons, but Watermark Farm boarders have first right to the arenas. Any non-Watermark riders using the facility must pay the arena fee . Remember, ALL non-boarders, including trainers and riders must sign a release form before riding and may not take arena time away from Watermark boarders. Watermark boarders have first right to arenas. Trainers wishing to hold clinics; please call for our rates to rent an entire arena. All trainers must show proof of insurance before using the facility in any manner . Please contact us to schedule arena time.

  • Feed Surcharge: Feed surcharge on daily feed allotments exceeding 20 lbs will be based on current market hay prices.

  • Contact: If boarding at Watermark Farm sounds like the relaxed, friendly facility you've been looking for, then please contact us for a tour and availability.
