The Trail System: Adjacent to Watermark Farm are over 4,300 acres of trails that you may explore. The trails include old logging roads that are dirt and gravel, as well as extensive single-track trails that riders and mountain bikers have created. We're constantly finding new trails. Great views and exciting wildlife are yours to discover. Talk to our regular trail riding boarders about the best routes and views. The trails are great for walking and mountain biking too!
You do not need to ride on any public roads to access the trails, only the private driveway and private road for about 300 yards or so which has very limited vehicle use (although cars do use it). Thinking about purchasing Watermark Farm for our great trail access? Please see our note regarding access first.

Print a Trail Map Before you go (Trail Map) and take it with you: Click to download a PDF file of the trail system provided by ORM. Print it out and take it with you to explore the trails (and so you can get back home!) In reality you will only be able to explore a small portion of the trails at any one time. It's a huge system!

ATTENTION: Use the roads and trails with caution and at your own risk! With over 4,300 acres open to you, we cannot be held responsible for your riding either on or off the Watermark Farm facility! All trail users are required to read, understand and sign all release forms BEFORE riding or using the trails! You fully assume the responsibility for all of the dangers and risks associated with horseback riding and trail riding, and completely release all private property owners, Watermark Farm, and Olympic Resource Management and their agents from all liability for any and all injuries to you and/or your family from the dangers and risks of engaging in the activity of horseback riding and trail riding. Always wear a helmet and boots with heels while riding. Ride with someone else and let people know where you are going. Be aware of various hunting seasons. Ride smart and safe! - Thinking about purchasing Watermark Farm for the trails? We have worked out an agreement with the neighbors to be able to cross their property by using a release of liability form. It is hoped, but not guaranteed, that they would be open to continuing that arrangement. Future owners would need to approach them and work out an amenable agreement. They have been very open and cooperative with us and we greatly appreciate their friendly, professional approach in working with us. Please continue to respect their property and their concern for liability. Those of you who have ridden the 4,300 acres of trails from our property know the advantage of easy access. No other barn around has our kind of easy, close, and safe access to the trails!
Trail access is only for the use of Watermark Farm boarders. It is not open to the general public nor to anyone trailering into the property. Nor is it allowed, in our current agreement, to let paying guests ride Watermark horses on the trails. For example; it would not be allowed to run the business where you fill the barn with your own horses and allow people to come in and ride the trails on your horses. The neighbors would not be open to having a “Trail Rides, open to the public!” style business coming onto their property. We would want to all sit down with the neighbors and agree on the terms. (They are very, very nice people who enjoy horses!)
